Hand Over Your Heart is a lightweight, up-cycled- short-sleeve shirt jacket made from soft, black-washed 100% cotton denim. At its center on the back is a screen print design pulled by hand from one of my original paintings—layered with carved leaf block prints, copper reclaimed leather, embroidery, and hand-painted touches - all in natural water based dyes-- It’s a piece meant to carry heart—offering comfort and expression while honoring where we’ve been and who we’re becoming and unbecoming.
 
Every mark and stitch offers a gesture of reverence.
 
I don’t create traditional wall-hanging prints of my paintings—instead, this is my way of translating my original work into handmade, wearable art. Each piece is brought to life through textiles and fashion, often embellished with thoughtful + intentional details, allowing the art to move and evolve with the body.
