This is a very personal piece dedicated to my mother — originally a photograph- then fabric painting— then mural**
✨my beautiful mother took this photo of my sister + I sleeping when we were little— she used to always say “back to back…”—
-My mother loved photographing + documenting our childhood through the late 70s and 80s — my sister + I are forever grateful for all the moments she captured —-ever so intentionally— creatively. —She was an artist at heart from drawing to photography. It’s such an honor to have her creative vision come to life through my own interpretation** of this photo- an honor to have it shine on at ESAC ✨⚡️✨
