Onerary... painting & fashion: is a concept,lifestyle,a vision. The fashion side of Onerary: A sustainable clothing line for women that merges forward-thinking design and functionality. A departure from traditional fashion brands, Onerary seeks to create a new urban uniform, at once unique and versatile enough to blur the lines between work and play. 

 

Founded in 2003 between Brooklyn,NY + Telluride,CO + San Francisco,CA - Onerary was created by Artist,Danielle DeRoberts. The line draws on the divergent interests— DeRoberts' background in painting, textiles, drawing and installation art. The resulting designs aims to be wearable fusions of art and interaction. Today Danielle continues to produce Onerary,fashion/textiles, and painting installations.

 

All images are created, hand-printed—light dyes and washes are added over the prints to further manipulate the fabric—by DeRoberts in her studio…
